There is always something interesting here at Camp on the Boulder. Last night we had a lightning strike on the peak just NW of us, and the top of the mountain was glowing orange. The Forest Service came in , & Sweetgrass County Fire Department showed up in the middle of the night. We watched the smoke jumpers drop in this am and the fire is contained. They will be watching it for a few days, but we are very thankful that we didn’t have to evacuate 190 campers. We’re grateful to the firefighters who did an amazing job to keep us safe.
