Camp Experience Life Changing

Camp Experience is Vital

“My family and I were blessed with the Camp on the Boulder experience for the past four years. The first year, my husband had recently been diagnosed with inoperable brain cancer. The second year, we were at the camp as “survivors”—my husband died after our first experience. We gleaned information, made new friends, enriched our spiritual strength, laughed, cried, hiked, played and grew close as a family during each of those experiences. Life enriching and life changing is how I would describe it.

The Camp experience has given us all tools to carry on in life and value relationships as that is what life is all about. We owe Cancer Family Network and Camp on the Boulder experience for our positive outlook as we contemplate our own life challenges/joys and offer hopefulness to other families.”
